Some time ago I brought to your attention some of the poor developers/builders in our neighbourhood as to the quality of the work, the delay in years for homes to be constructed and the cleanliness of the site while under construction, garbage-strewn everywhere and the lack of communication between neighbours and the builder. You may also recall that CIO CAN Homes is an exemplary builder who is everything you would want in meeting all the able and more. Both Brian and Leandro Ciancio are courteous, communicative with neighbours while meeting the needs of the owner. The site is cleaned every day plus the fencing is managed and kept in good repair throughout the construction. It is this type of builder who should be recognized by the City and awarded for meeting the needs of the community.

Leandro’s reputation for build quality and genuine customer service came to our attention while searching for a builder for our demo/build project. During our first meeting at the house, it became evident we shared similar values and disciplines that helped build the relationship. He is passionate and unwavering in his dedication to producing quality throughout the construction process and building trusting relationships with his clients. He is hands on and always accessible. To say he went above and beyond expectation is a discredit to the heart and soul he put into our project. From permits to completion all within one year during the restraints and challenges of covid is a true testament to his commitment. We believe he built our home like he would his own and that is our connection to him. It would be an injustice not to mention his brother Brian, also there every step of the way. I just want to say that we have lived in a CIO CAN Home for over two years and we couldn’t be happier. The house is absolutely stunning but over and above that, the home is extremely well built. I am not a fan of these Lego-looking houses – ugly and no thought of streetscape appropriateness, but kudos to CIO CAN Homes, building on Fenwood. Quick demolition, very clean site, speedy build, and nice-looking house in keeping with the neighborhood.
